K'naan은 소말리아 출신의 캐나다인으로 시인, 래퍼이자 힙합 뮤지션이라고 합니다.

케이난은 소말리아어로 여행자라는 뜻.

특유의 가사과 음악성으로 세계적으로 주목을 받기 시작했고

2010년 남아프리카 공화국 FIFA 월드컵의 코카콜라 공식곡으로

케이난의 Wavin' Flag의 리믹스 버전이 채택이 되어 더욱 관심을 받고 있습니다.

 

 

 

David Bisbal ( 1979 ) 2001년 미국의 '아메리칸 아이돌'같은 스페인프로 '오뻬라시온 뜨레운포'를 통해 데뷔

2003년 빌보드 라틴 차트에서 1위을 차지했었고

최근엔 Rihanna랑 듀엣곡도 녹음했다고 합니다.

 

 

 

역시 스페인어가 세계에서 두번째로 많은 나라에서 사용되고

미국에서도 라틴 이주자가 많아서 거의 제 2 국어이다시피하다는 말이 맞나 봅니다..

월드컵 주제가를 영어와 스페인어로 녹음하는 일이 생기고 말았습니다.

월드컵 메인테마송과 아이티돕기 자선앨범의 두곡이 가사와 느낌은 조금 다릅니다
