순록 뿔모양 헤어밴드를 하고 앉아 있다... 음...빛나는 코도 필요

할 듯한데...불이 들어오는 코가 있으면 금상첨화일듯한데...그 코

는 없었다.아마 그녀들의 마지막 자존심이 그 코를 착용하는 것을 

허락하지 않았을지도 모른다

  

크리스마스 순록의 대표가 되어 버린 Rudolf 는 독일어 어원에서 파생

된 이름이라 한다.. Rud = fame , olf = wolf 의 의미를 갖는다고 그래

서 순록의 이름으로는 좀 어색한  "유명한 늑대 " 라는 의미의 이름

* 히틀러의 이름으로 유명한 Adolf 는 " Noble Wolf " 라는 의미

우리나라 캐롤에서 불리우는 루돌프 사슴코는 사실 독일식 발음이고 영

어식 발음은 (우)루돕 혹은 루도업 이라는 발음으로 읽어야 한다. 

영어 발음 법칙에서  L 다음 자음이 올 경우 L 발음 약화로 거의 묵음화 

된다
