Sia - The Greatest 가사/해석

팝콘이 톡 톡 튀듯 매력적인 싸운드 하지만 가사내용과 뮤직비디오는 

인간의 절규가 가득차 있는 듯하다.. M/V에는 총 49명의 dancer들이 

등장한다. 이 숫자는 얼마전 있었던 Olando 디스코텍 총격사건  희생

자 수와 일치한다.

뉴스는 당시 디스코 텍이 Gay 전용 업소라는 점에 촛점을 맞추었고 
아니나 다를까  몇 몇 LGBT 혐오자들은 말도 안되게 살인범이나 갖 

을 생각에 동조하는 발언을 하곤 했다.. 

마치 아파트 옥상에서 던져진 벽돌을 맞아 돌아가신 여성을 캣맘이라 

명명해서 고양이 혐오자들의  기막힌 반응을 양산했던 사건을 기억하

고 있다. 난 오프라인에서 직접 눈 앞에서 그 뉴스에 대한 반응을 목격

하기도 했다. 사람이 죽었는데 애도보다는 고양이 혐오에 촛점을 맞춘

사람을 말이다.

메스미디어는 정확하게 사건과 그 보도될 기사로 인해 예상되는  반응

을 알고 있을 것이다.  조금도 자극적이고 논란이 될 만한 기사로 만들

기 위해 밤을 세면서 연구하는 사람들같이 뉴스를 쇼로 만들고 있다. 

그러지는 말자..제발...

인간의 죽음이 단지 사람들의 시선을 끌기 위한 뉴스거리에 불과한 것

일까?  결론은 절대 아니다. 사람이 죽었으면 먼저 애도를 하자 ..그리

고 할 말이 있으면 살아있는 사람들의 눈을 보고 이야기하자.. 자신보

다 더 크고 힘세 보이더라도.. 힘없고 소수인 사람들에게 하는  비열한

추잡한 짓들 말고 ...O.K.?
